Our 2009 Aerial Dance Festival last weekend was a huge success, full of strong performances given to a sold-out crowd. The audience was enthusiastic and focused (some audience members were willing to buy standing room only tickets for the seven act show!) and we just want to let you know we appreciate you as much as ever.

For those of you who weren't able to buy tickets, don't worry---next year we plan to have both matinee and evening performances, so your chances of getting a ticket before it sells out will double. In the meantime, check out the idanz review of our festival.

With the festival behind us, Fly by Night has plowed on. We dove straight in to rehearsals for a new dance called "Streams," which is inspired by the force and forms water can utilize. And, big news here: We've added a new dancer to the company! Marissa started rehearsing with us this past week and has added a pleasant new dynamic to our group.
