A Unique View

About one month ago FBN gave a work-in-progress showing of Passages, our company's newest work.  The showing was held at the Manhattan Movement and Arts center and was attended by many of our recent Kickstarter campaign contributers as well as friends, family, and aerial enthusiasts.

Dancers Alissa Kaplan, Janet Aisawa, and Kirsten Dahmer illustrate the complex dynamics of a family dealing with loss and grief

Using harnesses in this dance has been an interesting experiment and we received some great feedback from those who attended the showing!  In addition to this feedback, another highlight of the evening was the sheer amount of people who came to watch.  In fact, there were so many that some had to sit on the floor of the studio, which provided them with an exciting view of Janet's descent during her solo from 17 feet above their heads.

Stay tuned for our next work-in-progress showing later this year!
